I am honored to announce that my painting "Detroit Dawn" won the 2nd Place Award in the Poetry Art Night exhibit at Suzanne Haskew Arts Center -- Art Judge: Jen Fitzpatrick, Assistant Professor at College for Creative Studies, Detroit ! My poem won a poetry award too -- Poem Judge: Dawn McDuffie.
